For a Luxembourg citizen to work legally in Russia, they must obtain a work visa. Do not confuse a work visa with a business visa: only a work visa allows you to be officially employed and earn a salary in the country. The hiring employer handles the entire work visa invitation process. This is a complex, multi-stage procedure that includes:
- Obtaining a work permit (handled by the employer).
- Obtaining an invitation for a preliminary 90-day work visa.
